Over the years Crespo has also worked with such prominent figures as David Beckham, Kendrick Lamar, Kurt Russell, Ariana Grande, Mandy Moore and Demi Lovato — to name a few. Here Sevier answers some of our favorite party questions.

All-time favorite movie?

My all-time favorite movie is “Amélie.” It’s magical. I could watch it over and over.

Best TV discovery (of 2020)?

Hands down “Queens Gambit” on Netflix. Just amazing!

You started your career working with Hollywood legends Michael Mann and Jerry Bruckheimer. What did you learn about producing from them?

I learned to be prepared as best as you can, but know it’s not going to go according to plan, so be ready to roll with it, and not be thrown off course.

If you could only listen to one song all day today, what would it be?

Right now, Taylor Swift’s “Exile.”

What’s the most heroic thing you’ve ever done?

I would have to say, rescuing my dad from Puerto Rico, days after Hurricane Maria hit the island in 2017. I was lucky enough to connect with the team at HarpRescue.org, and with their help I got my dad out safely.

You’ve worked with some of the biggest shoe brands. Are you a sneakerhead? What’s your go-to?

Looking at my closet these days, I think I’ve become one. My go-to has got to be adidas Stan Smith classics.

Do you cook Puerto Rican food? What’s your best dish?

I wish I did. But my favorite dish is Mofongo. And my mom’s flan!

Did you take salsa lessons as a kid?

I didn’t. It’s something I just picked up growing up. It’s kinda in our blood.

Where would your dream vacation be?

The Amalfi Coast of Italy. I would go again and again if I could. I really love Spain too and would love to spend more time there.

What would you name your boat if you had one?

“Mad Hatter.”

Favorite word?

Semantics.

Guilty pleasure?

Oh, Netflix in bed eating pizza!

Pet peeve?

Scuffs on my shoes!

What do you order from hotel room service?

I always order a burger and fries, right when I get to the hotel, and eat it in bed.

What sound do you love?

Rain and thunder.

What was your silver lining of 2020?

I’ve learned to look, rather than listen. What I mean by that is I’ve been trying to look at what is going on around me and take it in and process it, understand it and try to make the best of it. I’m trying not to just listen to what is being said or what people are saying. There’s more there if you really look. I think another silver lining is all the time allowed me to see what I truly want in life and what makes me happy. This time period has made me more compassionate, and aware of what people around me are going through.
